48 hours in Saint-Étienne with the City Pass: history and heritage edition
Day 1: Industrial past and heritage
10:00 AM – Museum of Art and Industry. Bicycles, ribbons, weapons… A museum that tells the story of Saint-Étienne as it is, diving straight into the roots of design and the history of the region.
12:30 PM – Lunch in the city centre — on a terrace if the weather’s nice, or in one of the many restaurants awarded the Commerce Design label.
2:00 PM – Couriot Musée de la Mine. Here, you’re fully immersed in the mining history of the Saint-Étienne area. The museum offers a true experience through its installations and guided spaces.
5:00 PM – Free time for a stroll or a bit of shopping with local creators in the city centre.
