Description

A place that is home to 17 different bodies working with the public in the field of employment, training, career guidance and business creations - that's the Maison de l’emploi. Practical for the user, but not only that. It's also a very fine building.

And this Maison de l'emploi is the work of none other than Rudy Ricciotti, winner of the National Architecture Prize in 2006, Officier des Arts et des Lettres, architect of the National Choreography Centre in Aix-en-Provence, the Nickolaïsaal philharmonic hall in Potsdam and the Peace Bridge in Seoul… no less! In Saint-Étienne, he has created a surprising building with its bean-shaped openings. If you find it ordinary in the daytime, come and see it after nightfall: the Maison de l’emploi comes alive in full colour! We told you design was everywhere in Saint-Étienne!
