Description

"Gimme Shelter": an installation by Nathalie Talec, in-situ on the Place d'Armes de Saint-Etienne (in front of the Cité du Design). The artist has created a shelter of glass and neon shelter to suggest the idea each of us can create with minimalism, using only the bare essentials.

Nathalie Talec uses Le Corbusier's anthropometric scale of proportions and the furniture lines of Charlotte Perriand to express important themes such as survival, the cold and exploration. "Gimme Shelter" is a shelter made of glass and neon that suggests the idea each of us can create with minimalism, using only the bare essentials.
